A day in the life
- Develop and implement lululemon's comprehensive footwear quality assurance program for all products produced in Asia, ensuring compliance with our quality standards
- Manage a team of quality control inspectors to ensure that all products meet lululemon's quality requirements and specifications.
- Oversee mechanical and performance testing of footwear products, analyzing results and working with product development teams to address any issues
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that product specifications are achievable and meet customer expectations for fit, function, and style.
- Work closely with the production team to identify and address any quality issues in a timely manner, prioritizing customer satisfaction and minimizing waste.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure that all products meet lululemon's required standards and exceed customer expectations.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure that quality issues are addressed in a timely manner and that lululemon's expectations for guest satisfaction are clearly communicated and met.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation and reporting systems to track and analyze product quality metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- 10 years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on footwear products
- Strong knowledge of footwear production processes and materials
- Experience managing a team of inspectors that are dispersed throughout a country
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally from Asia to North America
- Ability to travel seamlessly between China Mainland and Vietnam
- Fluency in English and local language(s) in Asia
