Mô tả công việc

1. Ensure high standard return for guest rooms.

2. Provides capable and able training for all skill sets required for all employees in his/her department.

3. Maintain thorough up to date inventory of all stock that is being held and provides regular up to date checks concerning this inventory.

4. Provides cleaning schedule that will encompass all areas, and be covered by competent capable and trained individual.

5. Handles all “Lost & Found” articles that are retrieved. Ensure that this policy is vigorously maintained and that articles once identified are returned to the client directly.

6. Work closely with F&B in providing scheduling for carpet cleaning and back-up cleaning “pre function” and “after function care”.

7. Ensure that proper key controls are in place, key log-book is sign by supervisor and to spot check by executive housekeeper.

8. Ensure that par levels of linen, towels and uniforms are current; a summary report should be sent to accounting. Take an accurate linen inventory monthly.

9. Conducts regular communication meeting among housekeeping employees.

10. Ensure hygienic and safe conditions in work practices are being followed.

11. Directs and maintains his/her employees to provide a continuously energetic and competent work unit, able and ready to perform at all times.

12. Responsible for inventory of guest supply and mini-bar inventory of each period.

13. Control overtime through good management and immediate response to problems.

14. Ensures laundry department is capably run and that performance is to the highest standard in the industry.

15. Ensure particular attention to special VIP rooms.

16. Ensure that all employees in proper dress code and correct uniform.

17. Provides and carries out disciplinary procedures as required.

18. Immediate response to all guest problems and correspondence.

19. Ensure all equipment used is to the highest standard. Provides regular maintenance checks. Ensures safety is not compromised and all equipment is operable and properly maintained.

20. Complete regular forecasts of business levels, manpower and expenses.

21. Maintain a regular quality control inspection of department standards.

22. Develop and maintain a motivational working environment within the department and positive relations with other departments.

23. Provide employee counseling, support and guidance as required.

24. Maintain a cost effective rostering system, which is flexible to occupancy.

25. Train employees to become multi skilled in all facets of housekeeping and related departments.

26. Maintain an annual leave roster for low occupancy periods.

27. Initiate measures to minimize all wastage of materials and amenities are used in the department.

28. Attend training and meetings sessions as required.

29. Conduct duties or tasks as directed by hotel management.

Yêu cầu công việc
1. At least Bachelor degree in any field

2. At least 3 years experience in housekeeping management in one of in international hotels with evidence of track record of achievements

3. Strong in inter-personality and leadership skill

4. Proficiency in English and computer literate

5. Strong in driving results and people management and development
