The Sales & Application Manager actively drives ZwickRoell sales processes and achieves the annual sales objectives in Northern Vietnam. The Sales & Application Manager ensures sustainable mid- to long-term growth and establishes new customers while maintaining existing customers. The Sales & Application Manager will apply global and localised ZwickRoell Group strategies, guidelines, policies, and shared values. The Sales & Application Manager owns overall responsibility and is the driving factor towards business development and application support of Northern Vietnam.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a proactive sales management plan that ensures annual sales objectives are met or exceeded. This plan also incorporates a strategy to proactively increase market share within specific industries and applications.
- Consult customers, perform sales administrative responsibilities in connection with preparing, reviewing, and delivering final quotes as well as processing customer orders to ensure it meets agreed technical and commercial terms.
- Actively drive lead finding activities.
- Provide demonstrations, training, and presentations to help customers discover and understand products and services.
- Regularly gain market information to identify growth potentials, to evaluate competitor developments and interact with the local and international industry experts.
- Develop business strategies and periodic action plans to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Recognise customers’ needs and provide insights for improving the product portfolio based on interactions with and feedback from customers.
- Establish successful business relationships with key decision-makers, association, and influencers by also pro-actively utilizing social media.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports, and realistic forecasts to ZwickRoell Singapore management team
Education, Experience & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Mechanical / Automation / Robotics / Instrumentation)
- Minimum 5 years of experience with sales in premium capital equipment preferably materials science
- Successful previous experience as a sales engineer / manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Actively listening, demonstrate good ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Possess strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Open, passionate, customer oriented and able to work and contribute to a high-performance environment.
- Working experience in analytics, measurement or materials testing would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of plastics, metal & building testing applications or automation would be advantageous.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence customers.
- Strong communication and presentation skills utilizing state-of-the art technologies and digital tools.
- Proficiency in English language.
